I'm looking for some smokin' light 277 blairs phase alterna. Anyone producing any this season? I'm also always in the market for super nice looking RR's too.
Thanks!

Thanks,

San Angelo Nature Center...

instead of that why dont you get to work on F1 snakes. Although I'm sure you would be overwhelmed and in awe of the vast amount of knowledge you'd be in the presence of in beautiful San Angelo.
Major oops!
For whatever the reason, I thought you were in south Texas Brad!
Sorry!
I will email you some pics soon!

Hey Brad,
You might check with John Fraser here in Ks. I know he had lots of good eggs but not sure of his hatch rate. Saw photos of your babies for sale on the classifieds. Those blackheaded alterna morphs are really cool. You won't have any trouble selling those. Congrats. BA [the old BA]
Yeah, I saw John's stuff, he has some sweet snakes for sure. But I don't think he is producing any 277's. Thanks for the note though.
The other BA
Check out this website... he has some really nice stuff.
Happy herpin'...
generation of the adults. Did you get babies from the RR pair?
I could probably find out from Aaron, but I don't know off the top of my head what generation they are.
Nope, not only did I not get any RR's this year, but I also lost my only sweet looking female from last years clutch. I found her mysteriously dead in her cage yesterday. She was doing great, eating on her own with good weight. So I'm at a loss as to why she died. The only thing I can think of is that maybe she ingested some cage litter with her last meal that led to complications. Of course, that's just total speculation. I think I need to switch substrate. I hate newspaper, but it's looking more and more like a good idea.
On the flip side, I did get a pretty nice yearling, female RR from Ric Blair recently. On top of that, my older (not old, just older) female from Ric Blair should produce a phat clutch next season.
I looked at your ad, very nice presentation. Since you have pics of the adults I can say the Blair's adult you have is the result of pairing multiple Adam Sweetman and Dan Johnson males to a wild caught female that I collected. Your alterna phase adult is from the same Adam Sweetman and Dan Johnson males bred to an Adam Sweetman female. All of the snakes I mentioned, the Sweetman's, Johnson's and my wild caught female originated at or near Red Bluff on Hwy. 277.
I will be looking at a batch from RockCanyon tomorrow... What I understand is that they are all blairs (and it is safe to assume a light phase or two) and so far they are not on pinks yet, but if you want to contact them I am sure that he can either have you on a list when they are feeding, or if you have access to lizards work something out now.
Hope that helps...
Lance
