Junos hatching

jim_d Sep 24, 2007 04:38 AM

This little guy came out this morning, I still might get a few more this year. After some trouble with earlier cluches I let these dry out for a week or two, it seems to have worked.

Jimbo, I don't see hints of River Road in there do I????? Never seen a Juno with diamonds before. Maybe it's a genetic variation of a River Road without the speckling???? Too wierd man.

I don't think so Wayne, The snake was from a female I produced in 2003 from my w.c. s curve and a seven generations stock juno road. The father of this snake is one I hatched in 2002 from a female juno from Gerry S. and the same seven generations stock male. Here is the mother I will post the father next.

Here is the father.

.....and here is the mothers mother, she is pure s curve.

and the grandfather (on both sides)

jim_d Sep 24, 2007 08:47 PM

....This is the fathers mother, a juno from Gerry S. I believe these are all pure juno road, no river road here.

I like that dark one!!

That snake there would be the one that carries the "gene" for the diamond look I would say. I have never seen a Juno look even like this one. Makes me think. None the less, great looking snakes!

Wayne, I see a striking similarity with this hatchling to a photo in the alterna page image gallery (photo 420 by Troy Hibbitts)don't you agree?
