Now this was just an experiment I did on one of my females. I bred my spider (poss. het alb.), mojave, and pinstripe to one of my large normal females she is 3700 grams. So there is a possibility that I will end up producing all of these being they are co-dom morphs. I then decided to put in my Super Pastel male I did notice that they were locked. Now question is since the super pastel is the homozygonous form of the pastel gene. Then I should be producing BumbleBees, Pastave's, Lemon Blasts, and Pastels only then right. If so why doesn't everyone just use a Super Pastel in each breeding to keep from producing any normals then?!

Even if multiple males successfully copulate with one female, and you do get babies from each sire, none of them will cross over.

You can't breed a Spider and a Pastel male to a normal and get Bees. If you get a baby from the Super Pastel male, it will be a Pastel. From the Spider male it will be a Spider or a normal etc. You won't get two male genes into one baby. Sorry.

yes, that is what I had figured but it was still a shot in the dark you know. Thanks for the reply. I was thinking possibly the super pastel would pass its gene to whatever else was put in. Just trying to think of a way to skip a step. LoL

You could use a super pastel female and put in you male spider and mojave then you wont get any normals.
