I found this on a cut last night. It resembles a vinegaroon but a little different. It's body was about the size of a dime. It moved very quickly. I've never seen anything quite like it before. Any ideas?

Looks like a vinegaroon to me Stu.
Its a cave spider
neat bug!
I pretty sure it's an Amblypigid... a tailless whip scorpion. I've never seen one out there. Cool find!
You are correct sir!!! It is an amblypigid (AKA tailess whip scorpion).

Are they dangerous? I don't think I would know them from a vinegaroon, judging by the picture.
Definite Amblypigid! I too have seen them in the Trans-Pecos, and they are very common in the Bahamas and other caribbean islands. They're easily told from a vinegaroon by the lack of a tail and the extremely flattened body. They are harmless, but those spiny palps can give a startling little pinch!

The Avalanche has already started-it is too late for the pebbles to vote....
I'll try to avoid the pinch, LOL.
At least I was in the right family!!!
I have never seen one out there either, has anyone else? Really cool.
I have never seen one out there either. The last show I was at a person had a bunch and they were crawling all over them. They said they were harmless.
