Missing feedings

wvherp Oct 19, 2007 10:05 AM

I have a couple of alterna, one a baby, the other a yearling, that have refused their last few meals. Is this common with alterna? I have been keeping their environment the same since I had them and this is the first time they have refused. Actually, my baby Thayeri also refused a meal last night for the first time. Is it the time of the year? Is it a concern? Earlier I posted about my yearling, but now it is happening to two others. I am not too worried now but as it gets closer to November I might.

Probably the time of the year and they will very likely go off feed just before they expect to be cooled.

Not a major worry, as long as they have good body weight.
