the Bee is being bred with a Normal
Therefore he cant produce any Bee's because the other snake lacks the Pastel or Spider Gene. So only Pastels, Spiders, Norms will be the outcome.

According to John Berry's "Designer Morph" book Bumblebees bred to a normal can produce Spiders, Pastels, and more Bumblebees in the same clutch. The other 25% would be normals.

This is why I am asking,but my thoughts are shouldnt the bee reproduce itself ?
no it cant, that is the same as saying im going to breed my blue eyed lucy from my (MojavexButter) to a normal.
Will the lucy come out?! no I will only get Mojos', Butters, and Normals because the partner snake doesnt carry the mojave or butter gene to mix in. If I was breeding the lucy to a mojave or butter then I would get Lucy, Butter, Mojave and no normals
a bee can reproduce itself... butter and mojave are obviously on the same allele which is why it cannot reproduce its self

Blue eyed lucy is a simlpe resesive,a bee is a double co-dom.
both mojos and butters are co-dom not recessive.... unless that has changed as well in my absence.

The difference between breeding a cross line leucistic (say lesser//mojave) or a bee to a normal comes down to if the two mutations are alleles (different versions of the same gene) or mutations of separate genes. Examples of multiple mutant allele groups in ball pythons are only starting to be identified with the best documented example being the lesser/mojave/phantom/Vin Russo/mocha/dilute complex.
Because spider and pastel are mutations of different genes a bee can pass both to the same offspring and make a bee with a normal. Because mojave and lesser are mutations of the same gene and each parent can only pass one copy of each gene on a mojave//lesser leucistic can only pass one or the other to it's offspring so can't make a leucistic with a normal.

So in other words, when you breed a Bumble Bee to a normal ball python, you should produce - 25% Bumble Bees, 25% Spiders, 25% Pastel Jungles and 25% normals. It's a snake that produces snakes that cover 4 ranges of the market!

We're all here to learn and to remember what we forgot from before......
To create less confusion..........the percentage rating is not on the clutch but per each individual egg.
each egg has a 25% chance of being either normal/bee/spider/bumble
many people make the confusion that if you get four eggs then you can get one of each, but in realilty you can be lucky to get all bumbles or all spiders. It's just the roll of the dice and up to the BPG's.

From all the replies I have to say, what a trick question LOL
My first reaction was to say spiders, pastels and normals..but after reading other replies and realizing we are dealing with co-doms...and they can produce themselves...ball python genetics are really confusing LOL.
Hopefully the next question isn't about killer bees and normals (grin)
