I was out side just messing around with a Minnie camera and took some shots of my Albino 100 het Jolliff snow ,granite triple het female she is 100 het for albino and Genetic Stripe and Pied . And some shots of my Harlequin male . Thought I post some since it’s a slow day . David

Triple hets? I don't think there are any out there???

Of course there could be triple hets. I'm sure some of the big breeders out there have dabbled into that world. In fact I only lack one more morph and I also will be trying my hand at it.

As for as the triple het , all I can go on is what I was told ,I was in no way involved in the breeding .but with this person I would be more inclined to believe them than not. Plus they thought it would not live but I talked them into it . I make my own formula and tube feed them until I think its safe to feed rodents .David

So the breeder has either a breedable albino pied, a breedable albino stripe, or a breedable striped pied? Then bred to either a striped, pied or albino, respectively. Interesting, as I know of ontly two breeders with albino pieds or albino stripes, Ralph Davis and Steve Rousis. Anyone know anyone else that has produced an albino pied or albino Striped?

Tom Carleton has also produced an albino pied last year but it would not have been breedable. So unless there is a breeder out there who likes to be super quiet it has to be between RDR for the albino stripe or rousis for the albino pied. If it wasn't one of them and you did not see a breedable albino pied or albino stripe or the stripe pied(which hasn't been publicly known to exist) I would not put a whole lot of confidence in that animal proving out.

Like I said !! All I know is what I was told , personally I don’t care if its het booger eater , I just think she has a assume fade on her head . But you can guess all day and I’ll never ever tell . My word is my bond . Thanks David

Well really , I don’t care what else she is , she is going to be bred with a het Albino male that will be ready next year and her , 2-3 years the way she’s growing . I have a project in the works with Granites and Albinos ,I going to try a little different approach than has been tried before in proving out the Albino Granite or Granite Albino take your pick . I'm not sure if there is such a thing as a "het booger eater". I believe booger eater is a dominant trait. I could be wrong though.

So they produce the first triple hets from those breedings ever available and then sell a female? And they were just letting that female die because they couldn't take care of it? This story makes less and less sense the more he posts.

By the way I know a girl that produced a Bumble Bee a full year before they were ever made public ,not every one is a glory hound .some people just love what they do and that’s enough for them .David

There is a big difference between dominant x dominant and double visual recessive x recessive. And by the way, just because it was not a big public issue yet does not mean they did not exist.

You would have to breed either albino genetic stripe x pied or albino pied x genetic stripe. either way those otpions limit who could actually produce that triple het down to 4-5 people who are the grand total of people who have those double visuals and that could have bred them last year. Ralph Davis, Tom Carlton, Steve Rousis and who else? Bhb?

Like I said the info given to me is all I know and if you think a snake is going to die, yes you give it to some one that has a record of saving doomed reptiles . I have saved snakes with a protozoan parasite infection and even snakes that have suffered strokes . I have a Boa now that is a stoke survivor ,every one told it owner it had IBD but I looked at it and told him if your going to have it put down I’ll take it and I had a vet run the test 3 times and he said it not IBD and I said it’s a stroke and he said I think your right and after further examining it he said it was most serenely a stroke . And after lots of rehab he is 60% better .
Gut you can and I’m sure you will think whatever you wish . I may be wrong from time to time or miss informed , BUT I DO NOT LIE !!!!so take it as you will . Thanks David

I never called you a liar. You did not get a triple het female though. Simple. Maybe somebody lied to you. How did the vet test the boa all those times for IBD? You have to do a liver biopsy to test for IBD. The animal would have to be sent to a lab and would not be coming back.

Have you ever head of a needle biopsy , because that is what he said they did and it took 2 weeks to get the results back because he said he had them run it 3 times I’m not sure but I think they had to grow a culture or some ting to get the cells they needed to look for .David

I have, yes. And usually they are not sufficient for the material they need and come back inconclusive. Many people have to go ahead and sacrifice animals to have the entire liver biopsied to try to protect their collection. Do you know how much they charge for the needle biopsy and the accompanying lab work? I do, because I have talked to people who both do them and people who have had them done. It is expensive.

I understand what your saying but that’s why they did 3 all from different sights on the liver , as for the cost they did most of it pro bono as it was for my rescue and it only cost me 280.oo $ . Plus one other thing if a snake has IBD they don’t get better , and without Med.’s , unheard of . You talk like I’m a newbe or something , I have been working with Herps. For 35 years . And have seen more than I can recall , so please stop patronizing me . David

Keep in mind there are also a lot of people that aren't involved in the whole "ball market and community" and are simple private breeders/collectors/hobbyists that have also produced these types of crosses - they just don't go blasting it all over the internet.

I can’t say , she was a non feeder that was at the edge of death when I got her ,. The breeder didn’t have the time to devote to her so I took here in with the understanding that he/she would remain anonymous .
But she is growing all thou I still have to roll her . Thanks David

I love the faded albino.. Nice looking, you do not see that many. the high contrast is very common but not the faded.

So CUTE!!! Those poses are my favorite. Love it when they do that.
