Alright, I'm about to get frustrated!!!!
Long story short, Snake is going on 3 weeks... no feed, refusing everything..... lost 25 grams in those three weeks.... no visible signs on RI, scale rot, or any other fungal/respiratory ick.....
Humidity and heat are just right.. snake has been hanging out on cold side for about a week... not in his hide, but wedged between the glass of the tank and his water dish... no signs of him doing really anything... It doesn't look like he has been moving a lot.. and I know he's a real big mover at night.... he has started to hiss when I go to get him out.... but he's not shedding.... AGGGRRRAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
If anyone has an suggestions... please let me know. My vet (which I also work for) has suggested I take home some carnivore care and syringe feed him..... but I just don't know if that would be the right step to take here... I have been offering him food about every 3rd day... and all he wants to do is get out of the feeding tub..........
If snakes really ARE this hard to take care of... I sure as hell wasn't prepared for it......
