Here are my first albino hatchlings fron a possible het albino male to a 100% het HC albino female. From a clutch of 7 eggs (1 was infertile and 1 turned after about 3 weeks) i was lucky enough to get 3 albino's and 2 normals all around 45/50g.

I'd like to say a really big THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to reply to questions about problems I thought i had with this clutch, there was several! I really appreciate the great advice i recieved which helped me finally produce my own albinos!

Why in Gods name would you breed a possible het male to a 100% het female?

Consider yourself very lucky seeing you can get a 100% het male dirt cheap.

Not worth the risk.

Hi Scott,

I appreciate I was very lucky, I've had the possible het for a couple of years and had he was originally planned for another project, I had since purchased a 100% het but he had stopped eating last year and was in no condition to breed. I wanted to prove the male so I can free up some space,I only have room for a small collection.

I was hopeful he would prove out due to his breeding "story" so had the free female and thought I'd give it a go! I got bad odds last year so was due a bit of luck!
