So I'm not one to really spend alot of money on snakes but love keeping them. I've always wanted a pied and had no problem taking the loooonnnggg approach of getting one.

Daddy is an '04 100% Het Pied I got from a friend for $100 back in '04. Mommy is my very first Normal Ball I got as a baby in '98 for around $50. They bred and had babies in '07...I kept all 4 females back to breed back to dad which I did this year and got 3 clutches out of the 4 and my first clutch is hatching now....

5 eggs of which 2 went bad during incubation....so far 2 babies are out and the third may be a pied as we'll see. How awesome is this?

im working on just about the same. i had five eggs and 2 have gone bad as well.

i hope i make out as well as you though

Paitence paid off. Too few people place value on possible hets these days. They are an awesome way to establish a great collection.

I can't wait to see what comes from the other 2 clutches to see if I can prove out the other females. 3 of the 4 females have the nice "het pied markers" including the one that just proved out. We'll see.

I love hets! Just the excitement of the clutchs waiting to hatch is great! I think I have like... 13 or so hets or pos hets! I love it!
