I'm located in Northern California and I am just curious to know what these beetles are. They fly into our house all day and night and enjoy repeatedly crashing into things untill they kill themselves. Unfortunatley, they die very quickly so my house is full of dead beatles. They are about half an inch in length. They are orange/brown. Here is an attached picture of the mysterious flying beetle.
