Hey, this is a picture of my Dendrobates Tinctorius 'New River' at 8 months of age. Her name: Titania, after the queen of the mystical woodland creatures in Shakespear's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The red splash of color you see in the front is a leaf from my Jewel Orchid.

The contest is now closed to any further photo entries.

Voting will now begin.

VOTING PROCEDURES

Members will have 3 days to vote on their favorite photos. You may vote for as many entries as you want, but you can only vote for the same photo ONCE.

Individuals caught cheating and 'stuffing' the ballots will not be tolerated, will have their posts removed, and may have their posting privileges revoked.

To vote, simply go to the photo entry you want to vote for and post a 'vote' reply message to that particular entry.

Voting is open to everyone until the posting of the "Voting Now Closed" message. Any votes made after the posting of the message will not be eligible.

WINNER SELECTION

After tallying the member votes, the top 3 photos entries (i.e. the finalists) will have their photos voted on during a 2 day period by PetHobbyist staff (normally it would be the top 5 entries but since there were only 5 entries, we are taking the top 3 this time around). In the event that there are ties among some of the finalist selections, those additional photos will be also be entered into the final round of voting by PH staff.

Once a winner has been selected, the winning photo will be showcased on the Arrowfrog forum until the next contest is held (approx. 1-3 months).

It is important for the winner of the contest to keep their winning photo stored on the PetHobbyist photo gallery during this period as the photo shown on the forum page is linked directly to it. If you delete your photo from the photo gallery, it will no longer appear on the forum index page.

*Note* Conversation posts within a designated 'contest' thread will be removed. If you wish to engage someone in conversation, please do so outside of the contest thread (preferably on another forum such as the Open Discussion Forum). Thank you.
