Humid Hide spots..?

Does anyone use vericulite in their humid hide spots for their ball pythons? i know most people use spagnam moss and sometimes wet paper towels i was just curious

I don't, I use spaghnum. But I did try it as a incubator medium and hated that it sticks to everything! You may find it tracks all over the cage and sticks to the snake. Just a thought.

I use cypress mulch. Might have to moisten it once in a while. Check it every day as they will often use it as a litter box!
