Is it possible that a blood python and a ball python could successfully reproduce together? I'm not about to do this breeding (I don't even own either of these species, just boas). I was just told that these hybrid pythons exist and I didn't think that this combination was possible.

I've been seeng these for a few years now, and I was wondering if pictures exits. I would really like to see how they look fully grown.

These are the only ones I've seen around as well.

I'm not all together sure, but I don't agree to breeding one species with another. This doesn't seem right. The animals may be beautiful alot of the time, but in a way this is fooling with mother nature just a little bit too much, don't you think?
But then again, we herpers have created alot of beautiful morphs and color variations through selective breeding. Such as the classic albino, or even the spiders, majave, and pastel. But like I said, this is selective breeding, this is done through breeding two of the same species. Maybe I'm sticking my foot in my mouth too though, because this has been a touchy subject amongst us all. I'm not completly against it, it just doesn't seem right breeding one species with another because this creates something completly new.

Those are gorgeous but something just doesn't sit right with me. The voice in my head was saying those are friggin awesome!!!...But then the other voice said, "but are they rightand is it ok to do this kind of breeding?"

Steve Roussis did this hybrid project too.......with a Marble Borneo.......the outcome was spectacular.

He posted pics not too long ago.....do an archive search...(probably under Roussis Reptiles)......to find his pics.
