Well folks, I'm a happy camper today. I was afraid that I was going to get a clutch of duds here, but I got 6 fat fertile eggs. I was actually expecting these eggs about 5 weeks ago, then all of a sudden she shed again. The last time that happened to me the clutch was infertile when finally laid. I either misread the signs on this one or we have an unusual timetable with this girl. Either way, all six eggs appear to be fertile.
Mom is our axanthic looking girl - we assume she was wild caught before we got a hold of her. Its been a few years now getting this girl acclimated, beefed up and bred. She actually did not eat for the first 8 months in my care. Anyway, I just wanted to share the story and a couple of pics. I think I may be more excited about this laying than when my first clutch of '04 eggs hatched back in May. I'm just praying I get at least one boy out of the clutch. Thanks for looking!
First, a pic of mom. She sure looks axanthic to me. We'll see in a couple of years when we breed a son back to her.

An now a pic of the clutch. All six show nice veination and are in the incubator now!

Have a great day!...I am
