research is yet to be done for me about balls, but i thought id ask a few questions here first.
do they require high maintenence? hard to take care of? they only get 5 feet right? how big does the enclosure have to be?

a good idea would be to begin your research and then come to this site with farther questions... however when you have a question do not immediatly post a new message, begin by doing a search, then if nothing on the topic you want can be found, post a message... Thank you for your consideration...

I don't consider balls high maintaince at all. They only crap 2-3 times a month. If it's captive bred, very easy to care for. 85-90 degree basking spot, with a hide over the basking spot. I usually increase humidity a bit during shed. All of mine started off on live fuzzies, then switched to p/k with no trouble. My biggest is just about 5ft. I have seen some over 6ft. I keep all mine in plastic tubs. Use 24''x16''x6'' for up to about 4ft. My bigger ones I use a tub thats 33''x19''x6''. What ever you do be sure it's captive bred, Iv'e never had any feeding issues with cb.
