I was wondering if this is good to do? I spray my crickets with a calcium spray before feeding and then sprinkle the powder vitamins on top of them. Is this too much or fine? Also the powder keeps coming off of the crickets as they jump around in the cage any tips on how to get it to stick? Thanks

my advice is just use the dust, dust them and place thenm in a deli cup near wheere your chameleon basks and he/she should see them and get them fromt here, that way the dust ont come off and your chameleon will get plenty of vitamins/calcium.

I don't like those calcium sprays. They don't seem to provide much calcium and the "carrier" chemicals bother me. Also fairly expensive, and if you spray until the insect is wet it can be harder for the cham's tongue to pick it up. Dust sticks to insects pretty well if it is fine enough. More important is the gutload the insects are being fed. The better the gutload the better the entire insect is for the cham. Dusting is more of an insurance, so don't rely on it for all your nutrition.
