I just purchased one of those screen cages for my chameleon. He's a baby in a cage about 22 gallons. I was wondering since the cage is so big for him if he will have a problem finding his food or water? I usually keep a good amount of crickets in his cage.

Rather than leaving the crix loose in the cage (they lose their gutload, pick up fecal material, and can chew on the cham at night), try putting the crix in a plastic box container in the bottom of the cage. Put a perch down into the box (but not all the way to the bottom) so the cham can climb down to hunt them out of the box. Leave some gutload in the box.
