I am in the process of selecting cage equipment for some panthers my roomate and I will be getting, and I have some questions about UVB bulbs. I was considering getting the new mercury vapor lamps that are out now, but then I saw the µW/cm (100 µW)square and something seemed wrong. Dr. Fergusons book on panthers says that 5 to 15 µW is ideal. Has anyone any additional insight to offer?
