where in ny are you??...i'm on long island...there is a place called D&J's reptile on rt 135 just north of the southern state pkwy (island recreational shopping center)...they may not have one right now but they will get you one...
you can also try NY Reptilia in Massapequa on Merrick Rd...but he's a cranky sob that's suffering from herp burnout and if he doesn't have one he won't go out of his way to help you
BTJ's jungle may have one also but that place is a little suspect in my book...it's kinda nasty in there...they're on sunrise hwy in west islip east of rt 231
if your not from the metro area than all these roads will sound like jibberish but when people say ny i assume it's brooklyn, queens, bronx or the island
actually i am from clifton park thanks for your help i may find my way there.
If you have a Petsmart or Petco .. they carry either Jacksons or Vieleds when they get them. Thats where I got mine. $99 expensive I assume from other prices I've seen. Las time my Petsmart had Jacksons they actually had a male and female which they sold as a pair. When you do find one make sure to look for parasites... like worms under thier skin.... look like ringworms. Kinda nasty and from what I heard would cost alot to treat specially if they have alot of them.
