Do Chameleons like Roaches?

vulcan Sep 02, 2004 06:55 PM

I will be setting up a roach colony to feed my black rough neck monitor and was wondering if chameleons eat them too? I will be acquiring a Blue Nosy Be Panther at the NARBC show in Anaheim, CA. Sept. 12th, and was hoping to save some money on feeding bills by feeding it roaches too. I was probably going to be using orange spotted, and death head. Are these roaches okay for a panther or do they prefer different kinds of roaches?

I haven't had a chameleon that didn't like roaches! I've had a couple that preferred one species more than another. Roaches are actually not as bad as most think. they are also easier and more hardy the cricket. They have more meat than "shell" compared to crickets AND they don't smell! you can't beat them!
