looking into the pygmy chameleons but not sure which type yet. Anyone keep any that do WELL in captivity and thrive with correct care?
I read they can be delicate.

The one that more people have kept (so there is a bit more keeping info around) is brevicaudatus, but none of them are very well known. They are tiny, which makes treating them for health problems (or even diagnosing them) is difficult. They often die for unknown reasons. They also have quite short lives, about 2 years, and almost all are wc. The collectors tend to catch the bigger animals, but these are often older, and captive keepers just don't have much time left with them. I know Kammerflage Kreations has bred them so they might be a good info source or even a source of cb animals. Go to www.calumma.com and www.chameleonnews.com for more species info.
