Which of these two feeder insects are the better buy? Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of each? I know that they are supposed to be the two most nutritious feeder insects, so which is better to use and why? Thanks.

butter have lot more calcium but the thing is that they are dificult to find and cant breed. and are not big like a silkworm.

My chams hate butter worms. I think because they move so slow? None of my chams will eat them.

Luna eats both but she also tires of both. The butterworms can remain in the fridge for many months. I do agree that they are not as exciting b/c they don't move around much, nor can you get them to climb up the screen or on plants - they just fall off.
The silkies keep growing if your cham won't eat them BUT you can give them a shot once they spin and emerge as adults. Even tho they don't fly you can put them in a cup and they will flutter around. Also, as mentioned, you can easily rear them yourself.
