Has anyone used the Rainmaker Jr Misting System Kit? If so, how do you like it? Are there any others that you would suggest instead?

I currently use both the Rainmaker Jr. and the Mr. moisture. I prefer the Rainmaker though. It just seems to run a little quieter then the Mr. moisture and better put together and thought out.

I bought a Rainmaker Jr. years ago. It's worked perfectly well multiple times a day, every day since. There are less expensive simpler systems on the market, but if you want a system that is well built, has a good responsive company (its their main product line so they know what you need or parts you'll want), lets you expand to multiple cages there is nothing better. The only upgrade I would make would be to get the pump that allows it to run dry. The Jr. pump supposedly will seize if it runs dry by accident, but once my petsitter didn't check the reservoir and it did run a couple of cycles dry. The pump is fine. I don't have plumbing near my cham cages and really like having the 5 gal reservoir instead of hooking directly to a faucet or hose bib. At one time I misted an entire free range room, two screen cages in that room, and a cage in a separate bedroom. I drilled a hole in the sheetrock wall, threaded the pressure tubing through, and had enough pressure to mist that large cage too. Then I had to move and my real estate agent was a bit stunned with all this. You'd think she had never seen a rainforest before! But, some sheet rock filler and paint, and all looked fine. Really a great setup though, with various mist patterns and densities.
