Is it possible for feeders to get freezer burn? are they still safe to feed? My frozen crawlers have white blotches on them, is that freezer burn?

Sounds like it. It is from Oxygen getting to the flesh of the frozen animal. If it isn't too extensive it is okay to feed. I lowers the nutritional value of the item.
