Finally done with work for the summer and enjoying a break at our cottage. I noticed along the shoreline that there is a ton of washed up logs/branches etc that have been rolled smooth. I was curious if anyone knew whether these might be safe to bring back and furnish a cage with?(Just visited the toledo zoo and I am now inspired to redecorate
) Are there any wood species to stick away from? The general tree up here is Cedar, but like I said these branches have been soaked, smoothed, and washed up on shore from the lake for awhile.
ALSO, does anyone know first hand whether there would be any probs taking them across the border? Live plants I already know are a definite "Dont even think about it", and are confiscated immediately, but as for dead wood, I wonder if there would be any probs?
Anyway about it! Hope everyones having a great summer!
