CadBerry Pic, I just love this guy :0)

PHEve Aug 03, 2005 12:02 AM

Here hes pretty but I know Tyler will be frustrated with me, as I can not seem to get CadBerry to get fired up , LOL
I have showed him a mirror and he just stares at himself and looks away.

He's gorgeous to me all the time, LOL but I will keep trying Tyler!

Eve,
Ha ha ha.... He looks great either way, I just wish you were able to get him orange (we've gone through this before LOL). He looks thick and happy, good job! Once again, another pic of him:

Drives me nuts, you think you are frustrated, dang atleast you have seen him get orange, hahahaha ! I have never seen that band of green across the top EVER become all orange !

Gee, maybe he's TOO comfortable, LOL I used a mirror like I said he looked and walked away as to say yeah right, I'm not falling for that one.

I also showed him one of my lizards he looked intently got a little orange and then turned back to reg pretty colors.

I need a FEMALE Panther I guess, ahahahhaaha got a spare? LMAO

I think he is prettier when he is not fired up - his colors are so varied. He looks very content, too

He's always gorgeous to me, no matter waht colors he is displaying.

It's TYLER putting pressure on me to get him fired up, hahahahhaha LOL EVERYTHING is Tylers fault, (Hhehhe)

But really I find him quite lovely all the time.

Heres one where he has no orange and is BIG and gorgeous anyway!
SO THERE Tyler..... ahhahahah hhahhaa LMAO

I had a veiled chameleon a couple years ago who was just plain MEAN!!! He'd hiss and display every time I went into my backyard.
I had him in a nice 36x48x24 cage, but in hindsight, I think he might have been so full of vinegar because of the location of his cage. It was set up on a high stand so he could see over the 6 foot fence, but I think he also felt a bit vulnerable. Too many birds, too much movement. I think it all just overwhelmed him.
Maybe Cadberry would respond to a little more stimuli?

Wow, he sure was pretty Victor!

I don't really care, hes just a PET and I enjoy him. He really does have stimuli, hes in our dining room and there is a dog he sees, and a fish tank with BIG cichlids, and a squirrel cage across the room, that I'm sure he sees.

He's pretty mild mannered, and does not seem to get too upset /stressed. Which I think is a GOOD thing.

I think I would rather he be like that than always beautifully colored and uptight! I will see his fired up colors one day soon I'm sure.

Are you and Bernie feeling better? I sure hope so!

Yep, panthers seem to be more even tempered than veileds in general. And you're right, their relaxed coloration is quite beautiful in itself.
Squirrel? You have a pet squirrel?
I have a two female sugar gliders; they're pretty squirrelly!

I mean, look at that demented easter-bunny look in his eye. That, combined with his left hand held up close to his mouth, as if he's ready to shake your lil hand makes him look like a psychodelic nightmare-post drug-induced dementia picasso-esque wascawwy wabbit!
Actually though, his colors were full ablaze, flashing from yellows to oranges and turquoise and he was flexing and unflexing his tail in a hypnotic rhythm. Right after I snapped this picture, he lunged at the camera and hissed rather loudly. Though he didn't bite. It was all for show I think.
He just didn't want me to see where he was putting the eggs for the following spring. :P

His casque looks like ears, his belly is nice and round and his tail looks like a fluffy (ok scaly) rabbits tail all curled up like that. Ah yes, the handshake... Would YOU take candy from this stranger??? :-O
