He doesnt really match the room he's in, the room is more of a sand/tan color. Ya' know what, Darwin would go very well in that room!...He's perfect color! LOL, so why dont we make a trade off!? Hahahaha! Just kidding, but darwin is such a little cutie!
Cobalt is looking glorious!
decorator chams! I can see it now...
"Bring us a swatch of your sofa fabric, paint chip, curtain color and we will create a herp that will be a perfect match to you decor. A little Victorian? No problem, try a high male veiled chameleon with its high "crown" of jewels. Modern-techno more your style? How about a sleek and shiny blue-tongued skink - don;t want the BLUE tongue, let us know and we will adjust to you desire."
YIKES! hahahaha!

Too funny, yep. I bet it would air on TLC, Along with "home makeover" and "while you were out"
Hahaha!!! the show could be called "reptile re-design" or "herp houses" lol, I could totally see this happening!
Cobolt would look FABULOUS in a cage next to CadBerrys. He would fit in real well here, ahahhaha !
What a handsome guy!

Awesome color, wish I can gain one too.
chamcham,
Just curious as to how you came across Cobalt, did you use an online breeder or did you just 'win the lottery' per se?
I was thinking about getting another Cham and would LOVE to have a blue like Cobalt. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but is he a Nosy-be/Ambanja cross?
Any information would be appreciated.
Mike
OMG I LOVE YOUR CHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blue is my favorite color! I wish my chams looked like that. My chams don't turn any other colors besides green and brown. I'm not sure if they will always be like this or not, only time will tell. My chams look like their skin is turning scaley. Are all baby chams like this? Do they all start out with smooth looking skin and then it starts to harden or something?
Again, beautiful cham, gorgeous!
Thanks!

Mike,
Yep, He is an Ambanja/ Nosy be cross...but he sort of is leaning more towards the Ambanja side as he ages!
I actually purchased him at the Pittsburg reptile show a couple months back. The woman I bought Cobalt from was a private breeder, I cant remember her name for the life of me, but I have her card somewhere. Anyways...that was the only chameleon she had with her that day, and she said that she purchased Cobalt from Kammerflage Creations when he was only a couple months old. I DO NOT think that lady knew what she had, becuase she sold him to me for $225.oo, and I dont think anyone could have passed up that deal!
lol
Sorry I couldnt of been of more help mike, but the only place I know that breeds Crosses regularly is Kammerflage Creations (chameleonsonly.com) Thanks everyone for the compliments, and Cobalt says thanks too!

Michelle,
Not a problem in the slightest! In fact, you've been extremely helpful... now if only I could convince my roommate that Chams aren't all that bad and they don't stink... maybe it's in the cards.
Here's Hoping!
Mike
Veiled chameleons have the looks as well!! when your veiled chameleons get bigger, the males will looke something like this:
Sorry, the previous message was to you! Sorry about the spelling errors! lol, I guess I need to take my time when I type!
Michele
Cool....Mine are just now starting to get the rough skin look....they still have smooth green skin, but I can see some of the white like on the cham in that pic starting to come out. I can't wait to see what they look like when they get their colors!
