vitamin supplementation

small_town36 Aug 08, 2005 12:47 PM

what is a good vitamin supplementation to use? I gutload all of my feeder insects and dust a few times a week now that my chameleon is getting a little bit older. Is vitamin supplementation a requirement? and if so how often would you use it?

Part of it will depend on what your gutload consists of. A good general herp vitamin I think many of us use is Herptivite. An adult veiled could get it once a month. Montane chams even less often or not at all, again depending on how complete your gutload is. To get an idea of a great complete recipe, check out the gutload on www.adcham.com
