I bought a couple of jacksons recently from a breeder at a reptile expo. I was told that it's ok to keep a male and female together, but did he tell me that to get the sale. Hope someone can answer this for me. Also if they can be kept in the same cage, how big should the cage be.
My last question is what uv light other than the sun would work best. The ones I've seen seem to be high wattage, and I know they can be sensitive to high heat.

Use two Florescent Bulbs, a 5.0 and a 2.0 Get ones that span the entire length or hight, (which ever is longer) of the enclosure. They are usually 32 or 40 watts.

Jackson's, although I have no experience with them, I have done much research. They can be house together, providing the enclosure is large enough. I would suggest only having the one male, and several or a few females together. But if given enough food, room and visual bariers males will not be agressive.

I highly encourage you to some some in-depth research on them. Their temperature needs are a little different then most chameleons.
