Hi been along time since i've posted.My cham's lower lip is sticking out sort of, i believe it was the cricket leg type injury.What can i do to treat this, or will it go away?
pic is old, i have freshy's need to resize them

If you could post a current pic actually showing his lip problem, it might help in getting opinions/suggestions.

If the injury is to the inside of the lip - and there is a slight swelling from the cricket leg breaking the skin there, it is not that uncommon of an occurrance.
We would treat our chams that had this happen by simply applying Betadine on a water moistened q-tip, and wiping the area daily. Our vet recommended that we didn't apply Betadine full strength - hence the pre-moistened q-tip.
Betadine kills most bacteria and fungus and is used in surgeries for all animals - including humans (the ucky orange wash they use before cutting your skin, etc.). You can get the generic form of this (provone-iodine) at Wal-Mart or other such stores. It is good to have on hand for minor scratches or skin abrasions too - even for yourself!
