I recently purchased a pair of flapneck chameleons.
I haven't been able to find much info on them.
My boy is absolutely beautiful Yellow/orange/green mix
He does however have black dots all over him.
My other chameleons do this when they are stressed.
He hasn't lost his spots and I have had him for 3 days now.
Is this how the boys normally look or is he stressed?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

He is stressed. He may be more sensitive to things than the females or take longer to settle into a new space. Can he see any other chams or other pets? Can he see his reflection in glass, windows, a mirror? If your chams are being kept together you need to separate them ASAP. For info, try these sites for species profiles and good books on chams:

You may get more specific info on flapnecks from the books, as they come from a wide range of habitats in the wild and keepers may have kept them under a variety of temp and humidity ranges. Unless you know specifically where yours were caught their keeping conditions would be hard to figure out. Not that many breeders work with them.
