Most herpers start out chasing frogs and lizards in the backyard when they are kids, and then things just go downhill from there. But there are issues that every parent needs to know and needs to address before bringing reptiles and amphibians into the house with children around. Things like salmonella, cage safety, and other issues are all things you need to discuss before you bring reptiles into the house or the classroom
