Well I brought my female in..

She weighs 30.5grams...big fat calcium sacs =)

He touched her topically w/a swab, but didn't see any bacteria..so I take it nothing was oozing out. Two DVMs looked at her actually..both herp people. They told me to dilute some betadine I have to the color of tea, and swab the bumps twice a day, and use this antibiotic called Baytril 2% orally...SO..that poses a problem as they are not inclined to open their mouths.

However, he suggest injecting a cricket w/the dosage he recommended into a cricket, and then feeding her the cricket..I'd move the cricket w/long forceps I have....She's NOT a shy eater..she'll even come up to the screen top when she sees movement.

OR, the alternative..is to open her mouth and directly give the antibiotic into her mouth. I would like to try the cricket method because I don't want to stress her out w/the handling and forcing her mouth open. I ihave seen her only open her mouth 2x due to handling..she's very very docile.

I have looked at the bumps..they shrunk in size today, all of them..Still brown tips..and they are greenish yellow now..as opposed to the butter yellow they once were.

The vet thought about lancing them to check for more bacteria, but he was cautious as not to stress her out..so it was a toss up..he opted for less stress. I really wanted to find out for sure..but they gave me that antibiotic just to be sure. I think she'll be on it for two weeks.

I will keep you posted on how she is doing...
