Just a friendly reminder the getulus group are voracious snake eaters so be careful. This happened to me a couple years ago as I put these 2 large Black & White Striped Desert Phase California Kings together for a little afternoon romance. I got distracted doing other things and checked on them within an hour. They were 6 year old snakes and had produce the 4 previous years with no problems. The female was fresh out of a shed and obviously wasn't looking for love but a lunch time snack! Both of these snakes were over 50 inches long. The meal was way to big and she couldn't finish it. I pull them apart but it was too late for the male. Most people that have bred getulus sooner or later run into this type of situation but can catch it before it is too late. Cal Kings, FL Kings, Brooksi and some Easterns are by far the most notorious snake eaters with the Cal being number 1 base on my experince. I have never had a honduran try to eat another snake but I am sure it has happen. Learn from my experience and pay attention!
Good luck in 2006..... mike
