Posted by: lisamd at Wed Feb 22 20:25:43 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by lisamd ] My Frilled Lizard is having problems shedding, he is in a 72" x 48" x 24" reptile cage, he has a 150W Heat Emitter, 150W Halogen Spot Lamp, and a 24" Full Spectrum Light. I was told that Frilled Lizards like their environment to be humid and to have the moisture between 60% - 80%. The basking temperature is 100 degrees and the moisture has been low, which means the inside of the cage has been dry. He shedded a little on his legs and his head but, his mid section has been gray for awhile, I was told to buy a mister to help raise the moisture level which should help with the shedding, would this help and could it hurt the lizard if he hasn't been shedding for awhile?
