Hey guys,

I am constructing a pond in my San diego backyard. Im struggling with deciding what turtle to put in there. I am planning on maybe a map turtle with a pair of mud turtles...not sure what species of either one of them though...would this work or not? why?

The pond has dimensions of 6 feet long and 4 feet wide. At the deepest the pond is 2 feet and then there is about 1/3 of the pond is a shallow area of 8 inches. There will be lots of plants and stuff too.

Let me know what you guys think would work well down here in socal!Im open to ideas!

Thanks in advance!
