Thats cool. Ive had these for about 1 year now and I think they are really cool. Mine are doing good on crickets, roaches, and a variety of worms. It was so funny the other day. I had my desert iguana in with the spineys and the male spiney saw the iguana eating some veggies so he went over and started eating them also. Lol. So now i feed him veggies every once in a while. The male is trying to mate right now so im hoping for some eggs soon. Im also going to build an outside enclosure for my spineys and hopefully some chucks that i want to get. By the way, what area did youre spineys come from? Just curious. Mine came from Menefee California, near Temecula. And about the crossbreeding question, i dont know. Maybe someone else could answer that?
