I find leaving the snake with the mouse over night to be necessary. Just make sure the mouse isn't bigger than a fuzzy otherwise it can bite and hurt the snake.



For some reason my male has been eating the mouse on the second night of being with it. Maybe after 48 hours he just wants out of the small container?
