Hi,
I have had Trevor the supposed "Golden Greek" tortoise for about 7 months, but after reading about characteristics of the different tortoises on this forum, I am wondering if he is indeed a greek at all. He has tiny spurs on his thighs, a spur on his tail and very light yellow colored skin. His shell is light brown/yellow in color. He hibernated for about 5 months this winter and popped back up a few weeks ago. I want to make sure he is what I was told, so as to be caring for him correctly. I am currently following the high fiber, low protein diet of dark leafy greens like dandelion, clover, turnip greens, etc. So, if anyone has any information on what he could be if not a golden greek, that would be appreciated.
