Posted by: megalon at Fri Mar 17 20:09:00 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by megalon ] hi all,i could'nt pass up a KILLER deal on a baby spotted hatched late last year.right now,"2 bits" is about the size of a quarter(hence the name).the breeder i acquired it from told me that it eats frozen bloodworms.are freeze-dried bloodworms & tubifex worms ok,or should i go get some frozen bloodworms?also, how deep should the water level be?right now,i've got it set up like a baby slider or map,w/ a 3-1 ratio water to land, and it seems fine, swimming, diving, resting on floating plants, etc.oh,it's in a 5 gal tank, until it puts some more size on.does this sound about right?any input woud be much appreciated.thanks!
