well when he is in the water his shell and chest plate are bright orange.his legs are also bright orange stripes too. i looked on the internet for a male Terrapine Carolina and i persoanlly dont think he looks much like it, i have looked for other pictures of painted turtles and i think he looks like one of those. thanks for your help though.
