I noticed the last couple days that the gecko has been slipping around alot on surfaces such as the glass, my walls, etc.., all areas he usually has no problem clinging to. The one really big change is that I put a piece of bamboo in his new cage. He has never had bamboo before. He has been going inside of it and I'm wondering if the bamboo has some sort of residue inside or on it that is making him slip? I'm really concerned. Also, I read in my book that it could be a deficiency of some sort (calcium or vitamin), but he just encountered this problem so I'm trying to troubleshoot the easy stuff first. Any ideas as to what it could be? This has happened before in my other gecks but only occasionally and it has been temporarily related to being on my skin for too long or something. I placed him on a clean towel with warm water on it to try to clean his feet, but it didn't help. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
