I have two African Dwarf Frogs. Eeyore I've had for almost 2 months, and Piglet for a couple of weeks. Eeyore had seemed lonely (hence his name) and having heard they were very social creatures, I went and bought him a friend.

Before I got Piglet, I would rub my finger lightly up and down on the glass, and was surprised the first time Eeyore actually came over to my finger. Since the arrival of Piglet, he still does this, though Piglet doesn't. The two of them seem to get along great, both hanging out facing each other, or jumping on each other in what seems to be non-agressive play. At times when they are just sitting there facing each other, they will make a full body motion of lifing their body up and down -- like doing a push-up. At first I thought nothing of it, but as I continued to see this action I began to think they were acutally using body language to communicate to each other. Today, when I rubbed my finger up and down on the glass, as I do every day, Eeyore came up to it, did the push-up thing to my finger.

Do you think my frog is really trying to communicating with me?
