Hello all,

I recently purchased a pair of CB subadult lacertids sold to me as "Timon lepidus." I picked out what appeared to be a "young pair," only to find that it might have been not only a different subspecies from the rest of the group, but a different species: Timon tangitanus or Timon pater.

Here are the animals I purchased (ignore the species name in the photos)

These are the others in the group-- these appear to be T. lepidus, although I am not completely sure as I have been told they could also be T. pater.

Any input as to the identification of the first pair (T. pater, tangitanus, or young lepidus?), as well as the rest of the group (different subspecies of lepidus?) would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Fabian Aguirre
