Oh my that is interesting! Besides the fact that they are beautiful I recently had a long conversation on another species board about the differences in the size of the male tail vs the female tail.
I can certainly see a difference in the tails of your male & female in these photos. It's interesting to me to see how the male spotted tail looks so similar to the male ornate box tail.
