sorry, yeah i do incubate them sepratly. any way, both my tokays do not come out in the day. they act as you discribe. they have a sheet of bark in there cage that is wedged between 2 branches so it kinda just stands straight up in the middle of the tank, and they will sit on that time to time. they do come out during the day once in a while. they have a couple diff places to hide, but most of the time its right out in the open, like under a couple leafs or such, but there not at all scares or anythinglike that.
