I remember there being some controversy about the classification through DNS analysis of charlesbogerti and alvarezi; has any further clarification or consensus been reached on this subject? Personally I hope that alvarezi remains separate. Its adult outward appearance and range are distinct. Besides, I have a better chance of one day attaining an alvarezi if it is not combined with the more endangered charlesbogerti! Well at least I can dream...
