What ever happen to the Swift species of the 90's? I remember back in the day when Snow Swift, Midnight Swift, Marbled Swift, And Oscilated Swifts were commonly available through places like Strickley's. Does anyone see these available anymore? To my suprise these Swifts didnt come from the family Sceloporus at all. They came from an entirely different family called liolaemus. If I knew that these gems would not have been here today, I would have started a breeding program along time ago. Herp enthusiest like us should make sure this doesnt happen again, or maybe the Swift and Spiny lizards that we enjoy today will not be here for our children to enjoy in the future. Who know what is next, maybe it could be the Emerald Swift.
