I have a 3 year old African mud. He was given to us a year ago, and up until now has been pretty mellow. For 3 days now he won't eat and is climbing up the filter, tank walls ramp, etc. to get out. He has flipped over a few times!! I wonder is this a mating season type of behavior and maybe normal for his age? I don't know much about turtles. We take him out to walk around, he has a 40 gal. tank with a ramp and a basking light and heated water, 80 degrees as always. Other than the not eating and climbing he looks the same as he always does. If anyone has any helpful info, I would really appreciate it!!!!
